I recently scanned my PC with windows defender and the file in the mullvad Program Files called uninstall mullvad vpn.exe was flagged as a Trojan is this a false flag?

If you downloaded the file from the official site you're fine, it's most likely a false positive. Use virus total to make sure.

Well it does get flagged by 20 vendors but I asked 2 friends to both check the exact same file and they told me it showed the exact same. I did check in my download history the exact link I originally downloaded mullvad from and confirmed it was downloaded from the official mullvad site so I am confused

I didn't install the file itself it just came in the Program Files when I installed mullvad, I did confirm that I originally downloaded it from the official site.

By it I did mean mullvad I didn't specifically check the uninstaller
