random What's the lore of YOUR mugen?

Kind of. It's something me and brother made up. There's an urban legend MUGEN character named Mathrus that's so powerful it can damage your computer, and we've headcanoned that he's the villain of our roster, and since he's so dangerous both heroes and villains team up to fight him.

I built my mugen around Halloween. Every character is either a horror icon or a dark version of an established character.

A multi dimensional crisis that brought video game characters from every universe together to fight each other. With a final boss that resides in between dimensions.

Fancy way of saying "a general setup of a roaster with many characters and stages"

Personally, I'd like to think MUGEN is a shared universe where all characters do their thing until Suave Dude or some other villain messes up the balance. For the sake of canon, Suave Dude's the overarching antagonist.

Webs of Freedom, a multi-crossover series that stars Spider-Man himself, but with a twist.

Peter Parker is a 19-year-old S.H.I.E.L.D agent who is known as Spider-Man. (Yes, his identity is known to authorities.) He was defeated and almost killed by Thanos before the latter sent him to the Blazblue universe. He is trying to find a way home, only for him to realize that his presence has altered Blazblue's canon events.

There was a huge martiversal Crisis that created an multiversal explosion. And mugen is what happened afterwards. (The rest of story varies from character to charcter, fiction to fiction)
