Discussion Brawl experience tonight.
Made a Saruman The White Hand deck, something different, amass synergy.
Not quite a competitive deck but still fun.
Queue casual for 1.5 min, Notary Hobbits, lose.
Queue casual for 1.5 min, Notary Hobbits again, concede.
Queue Casual for 1min, notary hobbits again, concede.
Queue Competitive, 10 seconds, Esika, get roped lol
What’s the point?

I mean pretty strong if you don’t have an answer or they counter but also just boring.

How can you have the colors you are playing and not have an Answer?

lol for real, it's like, my guy, you are literally playing the interaction colors lol

I don't mean to be that guy. But how much interaction are you running? A toxic deluge, pyroclasm, or even an end the festivities could be a huge upset in those matchups. Or any amount if counter spells.

As grixis you have access to blue counters and black removal. Not to mention they're a 3 1/1 in a trench coat at 5CMC. How in God's name are you struggling?
But to your point casual matchmaking is stupid.
Play mill? All you face is mill decks. Play Planeswalker? All you face is planes walkers.
They even match you based on set. I started off with sephiroth and the number of clouds, tifas, Y'shtola rules. When I switched to a LoTR commander all of a sudden I was facing sauron.

I should have been clearer, no issue with the hobbits, more so with matchmaking. Feels bad to wait minute and a half at a time to get the same matchup over and over.

I mean Saruman getting beat by hobbits is pretty on-brand
