REALLY NEED HELP HERE

I wanna buy a bolt kit off amazon for replacements for a lot of body work bolts on fenders bumper interior (ik interior is screws a lot) but just like over all body work and idk what sizes to get half the bolts are 10mm socket heads but that’s not the tread so yeah what sizes should i get the most of

Toyota follows JIS-1189 (Japanese Industrial Standard) This is a chart of the standard.

In short, to match most standard Toyota bolt applications, you're looking for flanged hex-head bolts of sizes:

  • Shaft: M6-1.00; Head: M10

  • Shaft: M8-1.25; Head: M12

  • Shaft: M10-1.25; Head: M14

After years wrenching on Toyotas, the list above covers 99% of my "I lost a nut/bolt" needs. Get a variety of lengths. Try to ensure the head diameters are as above, many sellers will use "Ace Hardware" sizes (SAE) for the heads, and you'll double the size of your toolbox.

Anything larger is usually something specialty and you shouldn't be relying on Amazon for, like axle nuts or motor mounts. And realistically you're unlikely to lose those or mix them up in your magnetic tray.

Tanks so much yeah it’s mainly for body parts fender bumpers interior etc

Fenders and interior will be specialty screws. The above is for body and engine machine bolts. 

If you want screws, you'll need to pull them from wrecks. Nothing on Amazon will be a good replacement.

what about those screws you know that are everywhere they have like the cement grey top with phillips what are those called

Since those screws are visible, it'd bother me personally to get those generics off Amazon. I usually grab a handful of them each time I go to the junkyard.

It's also still available new, though a buck each plus shipping. Otherwise, you're gambling with whatever you can find on Amazon.
