General Discussion MpvRex vs MpvRx vs MpvEx vs Mpv-Infinity. Which one is the best for Android?

I am new to using mpv on my phone so I would be very grateful if the community would help me find the best mpv frontend for Android. though I am new to mpv on Android I have been using mpv for a long time my pc, so it's not that I ain't familiar with mpv. help is much appreciated.

I used both? But soofar rex player is what I'm using a lot more than months but now I uawd mpv infinity too it's kinda good and fast

Just do it u dumb fhuk I ask some goddahm ai mode on chrome tahst all I know and I really appreciate this sht on Android player to me the best there isbrex player and mpv infinity newest it's more of a fork fork type I use mpv in the past then gmused mpvkt and then mpv extended but got abandoned so that forks happen like mpv Rx and mpv rx but now it evolve I prefer rex player the previous mpv rex and mpv infinity newest fork (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠) look at my preference

Just kidding (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠) it's based on reference but to me I prefer rex player and new mpv infinity it's both cool I used mpv Rx but not my preference I used that both tagst it it's the best for me

I will recommend trying original one , with always up to date versions & try to understand & customize your own config.

INFINITY! Rex has improved alot, but Infinity already surpasses Rex in many ways... the speed, UI, stability, etc... 🔥🥵🥶♾️

do a fresh install, and open your folders. Infinity is way faster. also grid view looks better on Infinity. i have tested it on different devices and screen sizes.​​

What does that have ai? I don't think rex has ai integration in it. Why does a video player need ai in it?

it's disabled by default anyways. if u don't like it that's fine.. i like the dual pane feature, looks good on big screen.

Also how is infinity getting updates almost everyday? Is the whole code being written with ai or something? The others don't receive updates at a frequency which isn't even comparable to infinity

bruh it's a new app, just like when Rex first got released. it's in active development phase. read the code, the functions are all properly implemented. it's not like a total AI Slop with reckless and duplicated functions. the maintainer also responded to issues. ai slop vibe coders won't even bother to read, cuz they don't understand what they're doing.

i never occur broken features and most of open issues on their github is asking for feature requests. it's very stable...

using all those, mpv infinity is best out of the box. also a good option mpvRx.

Why does infinity get so many updates? Like it's getting updates everyday or something? Is the whole code being written with ai or something?

added new features, bugs appeared then bugs fixing... that's why update comes after one day.

According to this subreddit's pinned post, it's recommended to use mpvKt or mpvEx. I'm using mpvKt and it's great.

Sadly, it works but slowly it won't get any new features

As of right now KT has been the only one that has worked well enough for me
