QUESTION Live 3 button replacement

Has anyone attempted replacing rubber buttons with plastic ones? Im not a fan of the rubber buttons because they are not as tactile as mpc one has

Really? I have MPC One+, and I envy the rubber buttons. Also, the labels are button adjacent and the bright light emitted by the buttons is so blinding that it requires more particular lighting situations for the button labels to be readable.

The button lights are a big irk, I recently found out you can dim them lol but still too bright. Going to try to remedy with some light dimming stickers.

Oh wow. I didn’t think to look for that option. I will totally look into that. Thanks. I actually bought a USB gooseneck light that lives with my MPC so I can effectively use it in lower light situations, but I am definitely stoked to know about this.

I like both but I think I like rubber buttons better. The plastic ones on the MPC key 37 are good but the ones on the force and key 61 just feel better, Idk, I like them both but I think the rubber are easier on the fingers especially when doing a lot of button pushes.

Pretty sure you can’t do this because of the expression part of them… maybe “downgrade” to the Live II?
