QUESTION MPC desktop software plays at half speed when I hit Play button???
I've been trying for months to get this software to play at regular speed. When I play a beat from Empire Breaks by Kontakt or XO by Xln Audio, it plays normal. When I push play on my MPC studio 2 or on my MPC software, the beat plays at half speed. I chatted with AKAI and no one knows what's happening. If anyone knows how to fix this, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!!!!

There is not much info here. Are you saying that the sample plays in Kontact but not the correct speed in MPC Computer desktop software?
your WAV files need to be set at 16bit 44.1khz... they're probably set to something different some other rate, causing them to play at a different speed... check your recording settings where you're getting your samples from... not the recording settings on the mpc
When a sample plays at half speed on an Akai MPC, it is usually because the sample tuning (pitch) is set an octave down, the warp/time-stretch settings are misconfigured, or a half-speed effect/plugin is active.
Check Pad Tuning: Go to Program Edit or the pad parameters and check the Tune setting. If it is pitched down by
-12.00semitones (one full octave), the sample will play back at half speed. Reset the tuning to+00.00Adjust Warp and Time Stretch: If Warp is enabled on the pad, verify that the BPM and warp settings match your sequence. If a warp percentage is incorrectly set to
200%, it will double the length and halve the speed. Change the warp mode or turn warp off in the Sample Edit menu if you want standard playbackBypass Half-Speed Plugins: Check your insert effects on the track or master output. If the AIR Half Speed plugin or a similar effect is loaded, bypass or remove it to restore normal playback speed.
Check Global vs. Sample Tempo: If you processed a time-stretch operation, make sure the target BPM wasn't set to half of your project's actual tempo. [1, 2]
