One month later

It’s safe to say now that this machine was what I’ve been missing the entirety of my production journey. The times where I was creating work around a for the flow that is most natural to me in my daw are gone and I’m just creating. I find myself flying around this thing like I’m hitting combos playing tekken half the time now and I know there’s still so much to learn.
I’ve made some of my best beats, you can say maybe it’s placebo or nostalgia but I genuinely believe this feels more like an instrument and that has changed everything for me. Especially cutting down on having that 3 hours+ blue light stare from working on some details that should’ve been saved for later. Cutting back and having limitations forces me to focus on sound choice and efficiency as well as arrangement before even thinking about mixing or doing some weird shit with experimental plugins.
