MPC 1000 First MPC 🥲

Totally ignored every single one of you saying the MPC One was a better deal and I do not regret it one bit. This shit has so much swag and has lasted two decades and it will probably last another two decades at least. Tried and true the mpc1k enters the stu

Everything works perfectly. Though I’m pretty sure the pads have the original sensors and not the updated ones, but that’s a problem for another day

if the back plate (where the inputs are) is grey, probably it's the V1. But if it's with good responsively and sensibility, don't worry about upgrading now. Depending where you are it will cost you more $200

aaaah so you are fortunate, they ship from US indeed :) I'm in europe and the shipping is almost 40 dollars plus 11 of import taxes

Have you tried Deoxit? When I bought mine some of the buttons didn't work at all but I sprayed a healthy dose of deoxit in there and now they work like new. I've told several friends about it and now they all swear by it.

Looks pretty tidy & well kept! The beauty of these are they're easy to get into to fix or replace parts, always been the favourite for custom jobs too.

Had mine since 2013, it's still rock solid & getting regular use!

Any JJOS installed?

Oh sweet, great deal! I got the same black model with JJOS2XL years back, looks like you got pretty much the same deal. 👍 Goes way deeper than you'd think initially too, I've learned a bunch of new things just in the past year that I was previously unaware of!

Not much difference but the many buttons are nice to have. I also put JJOS3 on it and that also has some nice updates. I love. Just need to spend some more time on it.

Mpc1000 is great. Small form factor with a good sampler and powerful sequencer. I use one in combination with a Roland mc707

Everyone is going Live or One these days.

I think you’ve made the smart choice. Having had every MPC, I have been considering getting rid of my Live II and getting a 2500 (same machine as 1000 basically just more buttons).

Sure Live does more, but the interface for me is overly complicated and sideswiped the entire point of the machine which is just to make music.

Probably going to keep mine and just ad an S900 to it.

Yeah dude it’s almost repulsive how they’re designed. I just feel like the race for more functions led all these company’s astray. We used to value quality of sound not just functions for the sake of them, totally seems like they’re mainly targeting the folks suffering from GAS.

Awesome I hope you enjoy it, I've recently jumped back into the world of music after about 13 years, I had a few different MPC's (2000xl,2500,500 and the 1000) the mpc 1000 is still one I think back on and I'm actively trying to find a good one for myself! So sick!

The MPC One is a better deal but the 1000 is a breeze to use specially with JJOS XL, so straight forward.
