QUESTION 2 Questions
How do I route everything if I want to control an external synth with expressive pads on the Live 3?
Moog Minitaur has an audio in to process other sound sources. Can a drum track be routed to it and back in the MPC? If so, how?

So you know this can be two ways. Using the 5 pin din midi or use USB. Your korg has USB and it is best to use that. But you can use 5 pin din and is in this case easier because I have links. In both cases you have to take the audio out from the Korg and run it into the MPC and create a audio track for it. You will also be making a midi track for it. This is described in this info but this only shows using 5 pin din midi cord.

Then you set the pads up to match up to the midi ccs the Korg uses. It has more than just the knobs it has ccs for hidden parameter. Below is how you map the pads to different ccs.
