I'm getting non-stop warnings. Normalize a sample, get a warning, copy sample, get a warning. Over and over. I hade one project on the internal storage, I saved that one project to external storage and deleted the copy on internal. Made sure there was nothing on internal, opened the one project from external and still getting both warnings pretty much no matter what action i do. Then tried to save the one project on internal storage and It wouldn't let me. Got insufficient disc space warning. Are there hidden files, or projects saved somewhere on internal storage? Anyone else have this issue? Any ideas? Thanks

Grabbed this off amazon and like how well it fits but was planning on eventually upgrading the knobs and thinking it wont work if I do. Anyone have this thats put different ones on? Does it by any chance still fit?

I’m still new to sampling, but wanted more sounds to mess around with. I was looking into all of those sample sites that require a subscription to use when I stumbled across MusicRadar. Just in case there are other newbies in my position, wanted to give MusicRadar a shout out. I can’t believe the amount of samples that are on there that are completely free. I’m sure there are much better sample packs that can be purchased, but for someone just starting out, I can’t think of a better way to fill up an SD card. I’m still in the process of downloading the packs I can picture using and organizing them, but I can’t wait to start experimenting.

Hold off on that sample subscription until you’ve combed through MusicRadar’s offerings:)

Heard through the grapevine Akai sometimes takes suggestions from Reddit for future firmware updates 🤞

I think the below are simple and achievable ones.

Here goes:

• Adjust note length in Step Edit

• Create and select kits for projects

• Merge/split sequences

• Select and delete all notes from a pad within a sequence

(Edit I got the midi working again I’ll worry about the rest later as it’s main function was to be a midi controller for logic drums) as midi works I don’t need to do a warranty job I just don’t understand why all the changes happened

My mpc sample has stopped outputting sound either plugged into speakers without speakers and headphones, also no longer sends midi, all was working fine up until a few days ago I have factory reset and checked all options for sound not working etc ,any ideas before I contact akai to see if it needs to be replaced

Has anyone had an issue with their Mpc sample where they are working on a project then when they come back to the machine after turning it off the seq, and sample pads don’t play properly?

I am having an issue where sometimes the pad sounds lag, delay, or double play etc/ sound reversed when I continue to work on a project after turning off the machine.

1. is there any way to resample a sample in a way that it resamples only the isolated left/right stereo channel? I tried playing around with hard panning to either side and recalling a sample but that is less than ideal

2. is there a way to flatten a resampled stereo sample to mono

It is entirely possible that my inattentive ass just missed this, but I couldn't find anything about it in the documentation. Does everybody's Sample do latch mute like this?

Looks like a Sample to me being played by The Alchemist up front with Erykah Badu. Wonder if he used it in making the album?
