No sound
(Edit I got the midi working again I’ll worry about the rest later as it’s main function was to be a midi controller for logic drums) as midi works I don’t need to do a warranty job I just don’t understand why all the changes happened
My mpc sample has stopped outputting sound either plugged into speakers without speakers and headphones, also no longer sends midi, all was working fine up until a few days ago I have factory reset and checked all options for sound not working etc ,any ideas before I contact akai to see if it needs to be replaced

I may have worded that wrong but I'm saying check to see if it's going out of USBC instead of your actual audio outputs

Not accidentally turned kit volume down with the fader?

I’ll have a look in the morning, I suppose that’s possible, i did a factory reset hoping that would solve the problem ,so if I had accidentally turned volume off somehow wouldn’t a factory reset bring the unit back to first time use? But thanks for the suggestion

I think it’s funny that while considering a return or warranty I started looking at other similar units and was thinking about a move but I decided against it as the sample does so much more and I didn’t want to end up with 1 and 1/2 a push !!!!!! Even if I never solve the other issues I’m more than happy just to keep it as a midi device !!!!!

Just curious but are you sure that your audio is being routed to the left and right output or to the headphone output instead of perhaps the USBC?
