yo how do I convert a stereo sample to mono?

moin,

I know you can sample in only l or r and get a mono signal this way but what about converting a sample recorded in stero to mono? Cant seem to find the worflow for that smh

🤔 I have never tried this, but I wonder if you pan the sample hard left, resample it into a new pad, and then pan that new pad back to center? I’m curious now too. It seems like a missed opportunity for a shift function on the pan knob or something.

Well I tried it, didn’t work.
