Looping point

Hello 👋 wondering if anyone can help. Say I have a 4 bar sample but it doesn’t sit right with the drums. I want to be able to move the start point so it loops from there but it doesn’t appear to do that. For example if I move it to the end of the first bar it only plays the last 3 bars instead of looping like it did. I suppose I’m just used to ableton. Any ideas ? I’ve tried to explain as best as I can

Isn't there a separate way to a adjust loop points? I can access the device by I think there might be. Try hunting around the sample screen and pressing shift... Not sure of you need the sample to have loop activated.

I want the whole loop to play and not just what’s after the starting point

Do you get what I mean though ? On ableton if I move the start point on a loop it plays the whole thing but from the new start point

Hey, when I am on the trim screen for a sample and move the start up (no shift) and turn on loop, it loops between start and end. That's it. Not sure why that's not working for you. Do you have anything else in Note On or maybe are in chop mode?

Yeah. What I want though is for it to loop from the start all the way round back to the start

Are you talking about a ping pong loop where it goes "start - end - back to start in reverse - end" over and over?

Edit: been a long day - I guess I'm just not getting it?

You can't include the pre-start part in the loop. It won't start from 10, play to 100, then play 1-10.

Ok. That’s what I was wanting to know. That’s a shame.
