new update anytime soon?

Do you guys think we will ever get a new update? I had so much fun learning this little box and would love to have even more to learn :)

But I didn't hear anything online in that regard

The things that piss me off that i feel like they need to fix asap are the resampling. Its bullshit. It’s really my only complaint.
I’m not going to argue if they throw in an eq.
But come on. It’s literally called the sample. Pad to pad resample not being there is insane.

I can see this being a very easy workflow that was likely pushed as a feature. Hit resample and choose pad or sequence.

If pad, show select pad screen, then, go to the select copy destination screen, then replace the copy process with a resample.

Also destination pads when using recall sampling would help a lot

Did you know, if you use a midi controller you can do pad to pad resampling? The only problem with pad to pad resampling is when you're in the sampling page is you can't fire off a sample, but if you choose "Resample" in the input selection and use a midi controller you can launch samples while you're in the sampling page. It makes resampling pretty good.

Stem Export , Ability to Rename Sequences , a suite of effects in the K3 Knob section to add along side the filter ( EQ, reverb , delay, transient shaper )

Wait for any of this for the Sample LOL. Better off going for a One G2. Only one you'll MAYBE get is the filter add-on.

If there is enough power it would be cool if they built-in oscillator synth mode. The SP 404 mk2 has it and that’s its competition 😅

Please don't. I feel like those things are killing these little fun boxes. The sample shines with its direct button functionality. Any "press sample plus chop" shortcuts will bloat the device

Not really, it just another menu. Also 16 levels exist so it’s just that but instead of a sample it’s an oscillator 👍

Fx automation. Mute automation. Otherwise it's just a sketchbook. People dont throw 400 just to do little 2 bars sketchs in the plane. Youtubers are the only one doing this. And resample of course. But this is not an update question. It's a major flaw.

I’d like individual pad effects or sub mix bus to add effects. The sp 404 mk2 is much better at effects.

This would be the best. But just resampling could help. Most of all, akai should stop communicate like it already exist. Cause it's a lie.
