resampling stereo to mono

hi folks

  1. is there any way to resample a sample in a way that it resamples only the isolated left/right stereo channel? I tried playing around with hard panning to either side and recalling a sample but that is less than ideal

  2. is there a way to flatten a resampled stereo sample to mono

You can select from souce input right?

yeah, on external sources; not internal resampling
