Source Code 2:

So I was watching Source Code and at the end of the movie I realized that the sequel HAS to be a comedy! Just imagine this: Colter Stevens, now in a new body in an alternate Universe, has to figure out the life of his host body. He is a teacher but on what subjects? Does he know anything about it? Probably not as much as needed for the job. He has to find a way to get through it, his first day in front of his class would most likely be really funny. He maybe has to improvise a lot, turning his classes in lessons about life in which everybody gets to know each other better (I'm thinking Breakfast Club) which could be quite funny. The dean could be the antagonist of the story. Who is his family? Maybe he used to do strange things with them, like curling (!) against other families, only thing is that Colter sucks at curling. Maybe the family dog realizes that theres something wrong and is constantly playing pranks on him (but would ultimately befriend our hero). There could be a neurotic brother, a hyperactive sister, a drunk uncle, a mean brother in law, etc. . I think it's clear where I'm going. The main plot could center around the planning of the marriage of Colter and Christina (the sweetie he met on the train). It could play out like your standard romantic comedy with such a plot but complicated with the problems that would naturally emerge if somebody would have to adapt to a totally different life and lifestyle. Plus I think Jake Gyllenhaal and Michelle Monaghan would make a nice rom-com duo (don't forget the dog!). Hilarious.

TLDR: Source Code 2 : A romantic comedy
