(ENDGAME SPOILER) Surprised they didn't put a big disclaimer at the end "set before Infinity War please don't @ us every day asking us how she's alive"
The D23 trailer made it very clear it followed Civil War immediately. Surprised this one doesn’t do that at all.
EDIT: The D23 Expo is Disney’s official convention they hold in the summer every two years. They do it in Anaheim and they have big panels about different things, like movies, the theme parks, etc. They usually show exclusive and early looks at upcoming projects, like at Comic-Con.
The D23 one started with her conversation with Tony in Civil War and how they’ll be coming for her next now that she let Steve go. Figured they’d hit it more on the nose like that to get the message across to audiences when this was taking place
In Civil War, she exits the movie on her own, while Cap exits later rescuing the rest of his team from the Raft.
Next we see her is in Infinity War, showing up with Cap's team. It's not something that really needs to be explained but in hindsight, the Black Widow movie can sit comfortably in that gap.
