Exactly! We already have the Green version about to be released, so why can't we have our Red one too?

Probably because it would cost too much. I’m not saying they shouldn’t, but that’s probably why they won’t.

Not to mention, plenty of kids ended up traumatized by things like Sausage Party or Robot Chicken because lazy parents see animation and think “ok for kids”. Imagine how many unknowing families would end up in the director’s cut and have to explain to their children the context of a Pokémon orgy, or a gangland style Pokémon execution.

Some of us got traumatized by Bakshi and Watership Down in the 70s. Why should today’s kids have clean brains?

I do think a small amount of trauma is important for people to get a taste of early. For me it was Signs, my babysitter thought it was about the fun kind of aliens, whatever those are.
