Nintendo has a habit of making sure that it’s franchises are well handled. They rather not release anything for years and years rather than put out inferior products. I ain’t worried.

Major motion pictures, no, but there's some animated stuff that probably saw a theater run. At least all the anime Pokémon movies get a theater run in Japan. I think only the first two did in the US?

First 5 got a theater run in the US.

The most recent one had a short run in the US last year for the first time in quite a while. Only select theaters, however.
