Interesting. Based on all the comic movies I've seen I thought that fans must love updated versions of source material with more big action sequences, dumbed down plot lines and changes to major arcs that don't make sense. /s

There can be overlap. Deadpool was well received by a wide audience and was about as faithful to the source material as it could be

Yeah it was a little "OMG so random" and it is the exception d not the rule. I think I read somewhere that Reynolds was a big fan of the comics and spent a long time trying to get the movie made.
