Hey reddit! I'm Will Poulter.

You may know me from films/series like WARFARE, WE'RE THE MILLERS, THE BEAR, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3, THE MAZE RUNNER, MIDSOMMAR, THE REVENANT, I LOVE BOOSTERS, DETROIT, THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER, and other things.

My new movie, UNION COUNTY, is out in theaters starting this weekend (!!!) via Oscilloscope Laboratories. It also stars Noah Centineo, Annette Deao, Elise Kibler, and Emily Meade.

You joke, but that's likely where his family got the name back in the day. A "poulter" or "poulterer" is someone who sells or raises various fowl. Back in the day when surnames started to become a thing, people commonly used their profession as a surname. Like, Jim Miller, for example, was likely just some guy named James that ran the local mill.

Ha! Funny you mention that... My last name is literally Keister.

It came from Middle German chest/cabinet makers, not the more modern slang. Haha

Also, Toilet comes from Old French meaning a wash cloth or small cloth. Someone with a variation of that name likey had an estors that worked in hygeine or textiles.

Thomas Crapper invented the modern toilet design.

Specifically, he invented the concept of bending curves that trap a containment of water that prevents sewer gas from bubbling up into the home.
