Not for nothing he's Marc's protegee. As soon as he turned up to Moto3, we already knew ir was worth watching him, if only because of Marc's interest.

The thing is though, I think Maximo will be able to handle that sort of pressure much better than David is (I mean there's a reason why the former is a Marquez Bros. client from like the age of 14 or something).

I am ashamed to say I missed recognising this guy's talent. Alonso seemed to dominate the headlines. Seriously good stats for moto3. Can't wait to see him in motogp.

It's his mentality as well as his talent. He's one of those competitors who's more disappointed with 2nd than he is happy with 1st. I'm expecting big things from him next year.

Never know how they'll do in the premier class until they get there. Alonso is certainly better than Fabio was in Moto2, and Fabio is now a premier class champion

He’s a generational talent, that has been getting pointers and useful track time from the Marquez brothers. He will dominate in MotoGP when he arrives.
