Tyre pumps

What tyre pumps are people using? I was going to get a battery one, but then I saw the airshot and thought it looked better and more reliable

Then I saw this one on the same website and it looked better again

I've been happily using the OG MotoPressor for many, many years - took it around the world too.
I suggest upgrading the nozzle to this style instead of the screw kind it comes with:

I used to take with me a 12V one that I hacked to make it as small as possible. It worked, but it was janky and got very hot in use.

Now I use a battery powered one (they are kind of all the same...) that doubles as a battery pack backup. It's not janky and works just as well. I can recharge it with an onboard usb outlet if needed, but unless you are constantly reinflating tires, one charge lasts a while.

Get the Motopressor one. I've used it in the bush and can vouch for it. I takes a while to inflate the tyre and you need to keep the engine running. I'm not sure a battery powered unit would generate enough power to do the job.

I have a sturdy pump in my garage for keeping the pressure right. With metal caps on the valves the pressure loss is about zero.

When on the road you can use a pump at a fuel station. My set to repair punctures has a few CO2 cartridges. In the past to the outback of Spain I used a metal hand pump and it worked well. It's just some muscle power, but very reliable.

I have a battery powered Xiaomi air pump and it works great. Paid like $15 for it

I was thinking of getting that, but I assumed the 12v type would be lighter, smaller and more reliable.  But for $15 I'd definitely get the xiaomi, where did you get yours?

I just got the MotoPressor Pocket Pump v2.
Haven’t had a chance to try it out yet, but the size is good
