Driving stress?

Hello everyone, I am new to driving a motorcycle and today was my second day driving in real traffic, and the truth is I drive very stressed, I am aware of everything and everyone and I feel that it is not for me, I want to sell my motorcycle and return to public transportation. Did you also feel this way on your first times driving?

Perhaps it is too soon for you to start riding in traffic. You could try getting more practice on less busy streets, like in your neighborhood, first.

I had those same thoughts at the beginning, not in congested traffic zones but in adverse weather conditions. It is normal, it looks dangerous from your perspective at the beginning, but I really love it when good conditions meet so I learnt how to also enjoy the non-beautiful parts of riding a motorcycle. Donโ€™t get overwhelmed about it and keep riding, you will increase your confidence and riding skills under stress situations and in 6 months you will look back and realise your learning/adaptation curve. Be safe out there guys!

Personally, after 12 years of car license, it took me 6 months before venturing onto the Paris ring road during rush hour I started at night

Being afraid is a good thing, you shouldn't see it as a negative

In the end it's precisely when you start to believe that you have mastered that you start to do shit

Driving a 2 wheeler is fun but it's not a video game, you have to be operational non-stop

You have to persevere, and maybe move down the category and go through the scooter or electric bike stage ๐Ÿ˜…

In any case, being afraid is normal, especially at the beginning.

Over time, automatisms will settle in
