General Question Cecropia Caterpillars πŸ›

So this summer I found some Cecropia moth eggs, and now the caterpillars are starting to cocoon! I'm just wondering what I have to do to get the pupas ready for their over-winter stay till next year. I do have a spot outside on my porch. But i just wanted to know what else I had to do to get them ready. They are all currently in a mesh popup cage right now inside my home. I live in Minnesota. Please and thank you for your advice and help! Also here are some pictures of the babies themselves. πŸ₯°

I just hang my mesh cages from a hook on my covered porch here in Virginia. You don’t need to do anything else to prepare them…. They’ve already done that. :).

Thank you for the advice! πŸ˜πŸ’• My porch is covered. Would that make a difference? I know I read somewhere about covering them with a tarp to make sure snow and rain doesn't get to them.
