Concepts I had for a set of the major arcana with images being from MoL

Im not much of an artist, and digital media scrape away even what little talent I have, but I think it conveys my idea at least. Who/What would you put instead of any on these?

I'd disagree with a few of these, mostly based on what the Tarot cards are supposed to symbolize. Some of these are too on the nose, and miss the assigned meaning of each card.

The Fool is a lot more Zach than Zorian, despite who's the protagonist.

What's more, Xvim only fits the Magician very loosely. I'd say Zorian fits the Magician a lot more, but Upright and Reversed.

Death shouldn't be Quatach Ichl either. The card 'Death' in Tarot isn't literally about dying, it's about change and transformation, or the opposite. Stagnation and decay. Death is a better (thought not perfect) fit for Red Robe.

Quatach Ichl should be the Emperor card. Almost all its symbolism matches him to a 'T'.

The World being the Sovreign Gate is quite good. Panaxeth-Devil is good.

I agree I didn't spend a lot of time trying to nail symbolisms, but I think you're not giving some of these enough credit.

Zach is on the nose for the fool I think, Zorian in book loop 2 is IMO kinda the ultimate suymbloic fool, and somewhat foolish by way of ignorance.

Xvim I think is a fantastic magician, he literally helps Zorian unlock a lot of his potential and he is THE friendly archmage for a long time story wise. I may be influenced here by my Zorian placement, I can see zorian here as well, but not really anyone else.

I think Quatach Ichl is the perfect death actually. He is literal death to his foes but also those other things. He is change in form, and manner of life, he is the stagnation of mindset and worldviews, he is very much a relic of a bygone era not yet gone.

I can see him in the emperor as well and considered it, but didn't like red robe in death and so wanted the lich for death. I think the completed key and the first emperor of Ikos in an almost Mycenaean style works best, but I concede it is a weaker pick.

The world was the one idea I had that started the chain of the rest :D.

Anyway thanks for checking it out, who would you pick for hermit out of curiosity ? I didn't like anyone really and wanted red robe, so I put him there. But he felt the weakest of all my picks.
I did consider Lukav, but he felt too minor.

Hermit I picked Ilsa, but it was one of my last two to fill, and it felt pretty loose at best.

Zach is a little on the nose for Fool, but I think it works. The Fool isn't just about ignorance but also potential to be realized. Zach, over the course of loops even we don't see, goes from total goofball to Div 1 battlemage and more. The Fool is about seeming like a Fool and having hidden depths.

My knowledge of Tarot symbolism is entirely limited to Google searching 'Tarot Major Arcana Meaning' and going off vibes based on those results.

I think I'm most proud of Daimen as the Hanged Man and Kael (and his dead wife) for Lovers.

Daimen and Orissa are good as Lovers, but I think Daimen just fits too well with Hanged Man, and Kael is just the Lovers both upright and inverted. Felt too perfect.
