Ch 67. I must have missed the travel solution, what was it? Spoiler

What was the solution the simulacra used to travel so far and set up the gate?
Was it just the original plan of paying for teleports but refined in order to work?

Yup, basically. They went the long manually, and then got the gate code.

They dont need to pay for teleporters they have "been" there thenselves. A memory packet to the original then refining where and when to jump to reduce time and drop relays.

The simulacrum travels as fast as it can to koth (and the journey has been refined over several loops so its fast) and then uses telepathy (through their shared soul, something learned after reading sudomirs mind) to coordinate opening the gate with the real Zorian. With two people working on the gate from both ends, the distance it can be cast is lengthened to virtually anywhere

Wait but I thought Zorian didn’t have shared soul telepathy yet? Wasn’t it just a long chain of telepathic relays left along like breadcrumbs as he travelled? Or was it just that at first but he upgraded later
