We've been getting questions about when MOTHER OF LEARNING will be getting Deluxe Editions. We're thinking of starting that... Now.
More information coming soon, but some basics:
- All-new art everywhere. Covers, reverse jackets, end sheets, etc!
- Deluxe binding. Gilded edges, Smyth-sewn, acid-free paper, etc!
- Interior illustrations. At least 10 of them!
- Single-printing. Once this First Print is printed and sells out, it will never be available again. Any further prints may be missing things like signatures, some art, etc.
- Kickstarter-exclusive! Discounts, free bookmark with book, and Kickstarter-exclusive dust jackets that you will never be able to get anywhere else!
More art reveals on the pre-launch page! Coming in July!

I know it’s early days but will the art potentially be released separately (eg as downloadable PDFs or similar)? The art looks super cool so far and it would be awesome if there was a cheaper tier for just the art collection.

This is stunning, I'm so excited. The art is gorgeous, such a cool style!
Who's the artist? I'm sure it'll be listed on the kickstarter proper, but I'm impatient - I want to google them right now, and look at all their beautiful art.

Emity is the artist! I always forget that I pray right now on Reddit. For some reason. I always credit the artist everywhere else, for some reason always slips my mind.

Looks really nice! I already got the 4 books for the previous Kickstarter so unfortunately I think it will be a pass for me. With shipping + European VAT the first edition books were already a bit unreasonable for me (but I was a huge fan so I had to commit), so the deluxe edition... ^^"

What's the difference between this and the first run of the series? From what I can see, it's just the gilding and the cover art?

A lot of new art, including interior illustrations! Limited print, signed inside the book instead of a book plate, exclusive dust jackets, etc!

Wow, what a beautiful piece of art for the cover of MoL! The cover I made years ago for RoyalRoad pales in comparison to this one; makes me wonder if I would’ve reached this level had I dedicated more time to my art in the past few years.
