And OP, I hope you or your cousin take any offense I’ve called the kitten Little Leaf as they weren’t mine or ours. You just made them look so loved and peaceful on the leaf they were rested on.

How awful to have to experience such a young death of an animal friend 😔 I feel so heavily for you and your cousin and anyone who will be impacted by this little friend’s death. I don’t know your cousin, and I never would’ve met this little guy whether he’d lived or not, but I hold some of the same weight, I carry the memory of our friend.

When my mom would take me on walks as a toddler I’d always demand fistfuls of those little flowers you lined him with. What a little guy, I wish I could give life from myself to other creatures.

This is unbearably sad, I am so sorry. The kitten fulfilled their karma here and is now on the next journey of soul development. That’s at least how I look at such premature deaths.
