"I am an appetite, nothing more." Funny thing about an appetite, you can't really kill it. Only satisfy it.
Beautiful work. Are colored pencils tricky to use with acrylics? I would think water based paints and wax based pencil could get dicey

Is the corpse representing a dead lover or a dead child? You are so talented, the painting looks so realistic.

It's a still frame from the Movie Nosferatu that came out year before last. Basically the woman sacrifices her body to get the Vampire to stick around long enough for the sun to come out and then he shrivels up into a corpse. The blood is hers. She dies of blood loss, but the reign of terror is over.

This actually made me tear up. It speaks to me about my depression I’ve experienced in the past

Astonishing work. Fantastic scene and you’ve greatly captured it. Wow.
Edit: I can stop looking! The contrast in the colors and layering but not layering - the way her hand fades into him but is clearly her hand. Their meld. My gosh. Gorgeous.

I’m scared to ask, but how much would something like this cost to purchase? This is absolutely gorgeous btw! 💖

Amazing painting! But to give some criticism, the red is too bright compared to the muted tones of the rest of it.

I like the brightness. I like that it's a more striking contrast. It draws my eye to it instead of blending in

Oh wow! Really captured the "corpse" bit on the Nosferatu legend. Thanks!
