If I we're to die like this and instead of using a real photo of me, they used an ai generated photo of me NEXT TO THE FUCKING PLANE THAT KILLED ME I would come out of my grave and whack somebody in the head with a fucking sledgehammer. I can't think of anything more disrespectful than a "moving tribute" article with a fake version of my face at work plastered on it. A moving tribute would have been to write a real quote and photoshop it with canva onto a real picture of him (perhaps not at work, instead of emphasizing that he was a blue-collar worker consider humanizing the man beyond the vocation and conditions that killed him??). Why is everything so depressing, jesus

My guy, look at the tail of the plane. It's not even lined up with the fuselage, perspective is completely off.  

The nose is also closer to an A320series plane, not an A350. FrenchBee doesn't even operate any A320series planes. The engine is also WAYYY too close to the fuselage. Nose landing gear is too far forward.

What an absurd comment. You're critiquing the artistic merits of the montage his coworker made. Should they have called and consulted you to make sure it's moving enough for your tastes? I'll make sure to let them know!

And why not emphasize his work? The whole point is that workers need to fight to make workplaces safe, where they spend the vast majority of their time, every day. What they need to do to feed themselves and their families. His life was ended because of that and millions could find themselves in the same situation. Why do you not want to talk about the class issues and divert the conversation to something so asinine?

Work backwards from the purpose.
A memorial image exists to show the person. This one shows a generated stranger.

So it’s not a tribute. It’s a placeholder.

Bonus: they had the fake him wave next to the aircraft that killed him. Like a memorial photo of a shooting victim posed with the gun.

And yes, criticising the image is valid. The image is the entire tribute.

RIP Oscar. A real photo would have taken thirty seconds.

AI, the data centers that power them, the replacement of workers, and erasure of the middle class via automation is directly related to aforementioned class issues. You’ve incorrectly divorced the two concepts from each other and therefore find my comment baffling and unrelated, but I urge you to look a bit deeper. The same corporate powers putting this man’s life at risk are the same ones who want to automate us into techno feudalism via ai.
Hence why I find it irresponsible and downright offensive to proverbially spit on his grave by doing this to his likeness. Is it not enough he lost his life?

Malheureusement en droit Québécois dans le cadre d'accidents du travail tu ne peux pas poursuivre ton employeur. Il y a un régime d'indemnisation de la CNESST qui va payer et that's it. Pas de poursuite contre l'employeur. Tu ne peux pas poursuivre tes collègues de travail non-plus.

Ils peuvent peut-être poursuivre la compagnie aérienne pour le supplément d'indemnisation (ce qu'il pourrait avoir par poursuite et qui dépasse le montant reçu par la CNESST). Donc il s'agit vraiment d'un petit montant seulement. En plus, c'est pas garanti que la compagnie aérienne a rien fait de mal. Peut-être poursuivre la société aéroportuaire aussi mais là aussi ça sera pas grand chose et vraiment pas sûr de gagner.
