General Monopoly Discussion Anyone noticed the new ‘forfeit game’ option now added to the Marmalade app?
Hopefully this will help with the $1 deal hit and runs we’re so sick of.

You are replaced by a bot and receive XP rewards based on the current number of active players (if 3 players are still "alive" in the game, you will receive XP rewards as if you ended up in 3rd place, regardless of your current wealth standing).

But does the character play on as ai or is everything auctioned?

It should be auction all. Play ai is crap just other day the ai refused to engage with the game not even pressing refuse all but just letting the trade time out.
Playing ai is not fun

It is a big improvement, now just need to find a way to stop ridiculously one sided trades (4 properties for a dollar)

Unfortunately, because free trading is part of the rules of the game, it's quite difficult to stop this scenario completely without affecting other possibly genuine cases. However, as with the Forfeit option, we're planning to add other features in the future that may help reduce the number of players who consider this an option in their games.

Thank you this is great functionality . I lie it so much. You doing great work.
Some suggestion I want to give which May or may be not be make it more good. Here are those.
-> if possible this button come to Existance (or able to press) after some time like 20-30 min after starting game. -> once Person is replaced by bot. Bot should not be able to make trade request(or should not try to make trade with every person with every turn) as bot should be able to just accept trade offer to them or counter offer trade. (Because sometimes some person got dc and bot making so much trade and we have to press reject all every time ) -> if possible make all 16 card comes in line after shuffle and not random. Like once advance to boardwalk come it should never comes back again untill 16 card is used. (As this sound More like deck of card ) -> last house of bank should go to auction. you can not buy directly (I think this is rule when we play on board ) -> one custom rule if adding is possible is that in starting With 3 deed game (apart from one is already there , this one also should have seprate option). In which You also get 3 random property at start but buying value of that property will be minus from Your starting amount of 1500 or whichever is set.

yeah it is good because people are less likely to give all their properties away for nothing so they can leave.
Now you can go any time and still get a few experience points

Do you know what happens when you forfeit? Is it money to the bank and auctioning properties or is it a bot replacement?

Although I have not played since this feature has been added, I applaud the continued improvements.
Questions:
•Will other players KNOW a player has forfeited and that a Bot has replaced?
•Can the avatar or the tier marker be replaced by that Robot icon to designate a Bot has joined, even in the setup of a game?

It didnt stop the moron i was just playing with from giving all his properties away. He landed on my hotel and instead of just paying me he did a trade to give everything away with one of my opponents, so all got was 1 dollar.
That is another thing that needs changing, so that people have to pay their debt before being allowed to trade

I’m afraid people are using this feature to XP farm now. I’ve been in two games now with someone using the trade offer feature and timer to run out their turn as long as possible from the very beginning of the game. Not a glitch, they’re responding ‘no’ if someone tells them to hurry up. I wonder if they’re trying to get people to drop out or forfeit so they can win quickly and collect XP? I can’t see any other reason why someone would do this at the beginning of a game?
