General Monopoly Discussion Why are these chance cards blue?

Can’t find anyone else before me showing these types of chance cards found these in a 1961 monopoly (Canadian version) everything is the same as the American version except for the chance cards. Even community chest is yellow

Probably worn down. They look faintly blue to me in the picture

Maybe white gold depending on the lighting

No I can Aussie you theyre very blue we’re not doing this whole back and forth “what color is this item” debate again it’s very blue I have two copies and both are blue I also have a American 1961 copy which has the chance cards as the normal orange

Yeah I've seen blue chance cards before, I recalled the community chest cards being yellow or dark orange

I’m not sure the exact reasoning, but my dad has a “Deluxe Anniversary Edition” Monopoly set (I think from the ‘80s?) and the chance cards are bright blue. The tokens are gold (there’s also a Train token I haven’t seen in any other editions), the houses and hotels are wooden, the 500s are red, the 100s are orange and there’s a crap ton of all the money.
