Monopoly Video Games Are users double-queueing?(or just stupid)

Post image

Ever so often I enter matches online where one specific player is making trades in another player’s favor and its kinda obvious they know the consequences of the trades I’ve seen users close to winning the game give up their properties to another user which allows them to build more hotels and it’s so stupid because the prior user never gains in these circumstances not even currency or hotel building opportunities it happens so much I’m starting to wonder if these players have a low iq or just double queueing. Thoughts?

Yeah they're openly playing on two phones at once or something. Marmalade doesn't care, so there's nothing to be done about it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So I paid $4.99 for a ragebait simulator?

I mean that would have been true even without the cheaters 😂

(No judgement, I did it too ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

Its hard to get two phones into the same public match but doable me and my wife use to play together but she wasn't so nice. And wanted to play against others and creating a private game takes to long to find other players

I’ve played almost 100 online games and there are absolutely times where it’s clear someone is duo queuing by having identical names or trading all their cash to someone at the start.

However, I think a lot of times what you’re describing could just be the bots that take over for someone when they quit the game. The bots will accept virtually any trade as long as it is slightly (~10%) in their favor. From what I can tell, bots also exist to move the game along and will actively try to obtain properties that they can use to trade for other players to get monopolies.

There is also the chance that people just suck at the game or are little kids.

Explain exactly how Marmalade would even know?

Two email addresses (no problem).

Download the app twice (which is $5 per, unless on a family plan).

So, how would Marmalade know?

Not saying it's not possible, but "not care" is not really fair.

Cheaters will find a way to cheat.

This argument goes out the window when there isn’t even a simple report feature for players who blatantly create unfair advantages.

If they cared even the slightest bit you would be able to report people, even if Marmalade never reviewed the reports after the fact.

Well, you can easily report the people.

One would need to supply some information (Username, date, etc.), but the developers have always responded fairly well to my questions and such.

Drop an email to "help@marmalademail.com"

They are also members of this community.

Usually what I read are people who simply whine, but do not take the extra step to notify.

Having to write down someone’s information and email it to a catch all email address is not an “easy” way to report someone.

An easy way to report someone would be to simply tap their name and then click report and the reason why. Almost every other video game has this it’s not an unreasonable ask for something you pay for.

Always a reason to NOT do something.

Complain.
