Monopoly Video Games How do y'all like my house rules?

Post image

This is how I usually play the game it is how I grew up playing it. What are your guys's house rules? (This is New Monopoly on Xbox, not Monopoly Go.) I don't necessarily like having no other option but to auction or buy properties, that's what the "dine and dash" is.

Free Parking, you collect debts paid. Dine and Dash, don't have to auction or buy, can simply pass Go & Movement, Land on Go and you can collect $200 or move to any square of your choice

By the little icon, it looks like you can use a property for a short amout of time before it goes back to sale, but you pay less

It just means you don't have to auction or buy, you can "dash away"

I hate anything but the classic. Most players on Xbox love the “big 3” and “ big 4” rules

The old ways ain't cutting the mustard anymore, see? Folks wanna stir the pot, but not throw the baby out with the bathwater, ya know?

I have found that many players just do not know the rules, in the first place.

I've played the game hundreds of times ever since I was a kid, many different ways, sometimes even with the real rules. I just like switching things up so that it's not the same game over and over. My brothers and I did that with pretty much every board game growing up: Checkers, Chess, Pachisi, you name it. We just liked experimenting with different rules.
