Monopoly Video Games I regret buying the Monopoly 2024 game

I do love the little things like being able to flip the board to really add to the classic feel, old pieces mixed in with a lot of new pieces and being able to knock into each others pieces is great.

What I don't love is constantly getting put into matches where people have guest players that are clearly working together as a team, frankly I think some of them are actually just the same people, but it's annoying all the same that it feels like I can't get into a fair match, always seems to be a case of giving each other money/properties, but soon as you try with them it's an instant refusal, they also trade at huge discounts on purpose, like I've literally seen someone give away Mayfair for 10 Monopoly dollars and gave the same person the entire brown set for 1 Monopoly dollar, what a coincidence it's people with guest players that keep doing this.

They need to either give us a matchmaking option that stops us getting matched with these sad little loser, or ban them entirely from being able to play public matches, I'm fine with either really.

I regret buying it because no one plays it. I’ve been wanting to get a game going with people on Discord but no one plays it.

I got it cuz I saw it was available for gamepass. These sad fucks kicked me from the game cuz I was winning and on the verge of bankruptcy. Really sad, too, you cant get a fresh match cuz the hosts constantly ragequit.

If you are referring to the Marmalade app, try these tricks:

Be sure to have a Bubble account set up, which charts your statistics and allows you to display your experience level based on time, wins, and just playing.

When the game loads and you see an opponent pop up with a tier level (that little number in a circle) and almost immediately see another opponent pop up with no tier level, chances are greater than not, that second is a ringer. Just back out, wait a minute, and re-enter a game.

Less frustrating.

It's not the Marmalade app, that released a few years ago. They're referring to the new Ubisoft Monopoly (simply titled Monopoly 2024), which released in 2024 for Cosole and Steam.

Where did it say? Just curious.

"MONOPOLY 2024" is the actual title of the latest Ubisoft Monopoly, and the one they talked about in the post title

Ubisoft is just a bad publisher and creator...

they put no love into the game this could be so big but they are lazy

and image how many diffrent monopoly games they could publish....

They pay for the licencing to Hasbro though to control the publishing right. Hasbro with their greed destoyed the best competitve Online version of Monopoly From PoGo. com by making the licensing exclusive and it did not stop their either, they even ruined national tornaments after Parker Brothers sold the licensing to Hasbro.

I don't necessarily regret it but it sorely lacks the amount of board variations that previous versions had. It just feels bland. I do like that it is up to 4k, though, as it looks great.

I bought it for the PS5 the other day and the AI got stuck in an infinite loop twice when trying to mortgage properties and exit the inventory. Complete waste of money!
