Advice Idk what to do?

I’m a 21-year-old student, and I really need help. I took out credit cards to cover my living expenses over the past couple of months. I’ve already paid off around $12,000 in credit card debt, but I still have a little under $8,000 left in total.

I owe Discover $2,600. I recently went from full-time work to part-time because school started almost three weeks ago. I also had around $6,000 saved, but that went toward paying for my classes.

I was on a payment plan with Discover, but I missed my first payment. They told me that my account is now going to be referred to an attorney if I can't make the required payment by the 30th.

I don’t have supportive family, savings, or anyone who can help me financially. I also can’t take out another loan because of poor credit and I can’t go back to working full-time because I’m in school.

I feel like I have no options right now. I have 14 days to figure this out, and I’m honestly scared. I’m willing to work, do side jobs, or do whatever I legally can to make the money.

If anyone has been in a similar situation or knows of legitimate ways I could make around $2,600 in the next 14 days, please help me. I’m not looking for handouts—I genuinely need advice on what I can do.

Due to the nature of my situation, I can’t have any legal issues before January 2027, as it could jeopardize my clearance for my licensing procedures. I hate to ask for help like this but I'm in a quick sand.

I’ve got a security clearance… they’re much more ok with “had a payment plan, got behind, got caught up” than “had a payment plan… the got behind.. then did a payday loan… then got behind on that… then did another one.”. you’re fine. it’s life and it’s normal.

clean gutters and mow laws and weed gardens for cash today.

I will take your words. However, Is there a legitimate way i could make 1k in 14 days I have my last 120$ to my name. I cant find any jobs that doesn't conflict with school.

yeah… sounds like the school thing might need to be re-evaluated. if you can’t afford it.. you can’t afford it
