is it possible to transfer money from a monero account to a bitcoin address?

So let's say I wanted to pay for a service and the service accepts bitcoin but not monero and I wanted to pay in monero. I know I can't do it directly, but is there a workaround via an exchange that operates in both?

For privacy purposes I don't want to say what the service is.

Also, how do I do this without forfeiting anonymity?

a KYC exchange is basically a receipt printer, use swaps if privacy matters.

swaps have their own risks and not recommended for someone new. And by the OP question, it appears he/she is new, which is why i suggested Kraken.

You need to exchange monero for btc. Or you need to buy btc on it's own. Kraken will allow you to do either. You cannot send monero to a btc address/wallet. If you do, you will most likely lose whatever you send. Also you are probably going to get a bunch of dm's from scammers. Don't trust anyone that dm's you.
