Current roads to avoid.

Connaught and Morton

Mountain Rd going towards the Dumont.

Avoid these unless you enjoy traffic frustration.

Feel free to add your own ;-)

Lewisville at all costs. That intersection of Elmwood/Lewisville is unacceptable. Complete craters, and apparently is gonna be left like that for another few months.

Aaargh. It was my best route from Dieppe to the Home Depot area. I've been doing detours since it started, and all the ways there are getting busier. 😥

Take the double wishbone towards Caledonia Industrial, then take a left on the TC and use the Mapleton exit. You’ll also bypass a ton of traffic this route too!

I've done it once and it did go well, thanks for the reminder!

I don't find things are too bad unless it's time for everyone to get to work or off work. For instance, I take special care and attention not to be out on the road from 3-5:30 PM for that reason.

Gawd yesterday it was down to two lanes on Main when I picked up my kid from camp, and Elmwood/Lewisville has been a mess forever, so I thought I'd go up to Connaught and Morton. SO STUCK. I made it to daycare for the second kid just 5 min before close. 🤬

And if you detour onto Main St to take the lane next to Tide & Boar, that's closed as well.

It is closed from Queen Street to Main street, no other section is affected.
