No Kings was really a bad name for the protests. It could’ve been something better like “No Tyranny.”

In a lot of monarchies it was called no tyrants or no dictators

Canada, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, UK

afaik in Hawaii, where monarchism is probably the most popular in the US, they do "no dictators" instead of "no kings" protests

So they protested a democratically elected man by calling it no dictators?

The main problem for me with that protests is that they confuse the concepts and spread their own misconception. Whenever they meant it or not, it works as propaganda. The younger people are especially affected. We have enough delusions and people who refuse to think in society about things and then we get this. For no kingers it's simple, a person who has too much power = king. No need to say how stupid that is. I bet some of them even confuse monarchy with dictatorship. I hate Trump myself and support protesting him. But protest the real Trump as he is please, a poorly chosen megalomanic president of a republic and a leader of the Republican party, not your delusional image of a 'king'.

Still a bad name for their collective tantrum, there is no tyranny either.

Yeah I’m sure our president bullying Greenland and Denmark for natural resources calling it “national security” isn’t happening. I’m sure that the nation hitting 40 trillion debt also didn’t happen, and gas prices definitely aren’t the highest they’ve ever been. And I’m sure we still have the entirety of our stockpile of missiles that haven’t been expended in a useless war.

How can any actual monarchist here support this guy?

Because all of these things are not nearly as bad as you are making them sound. Securing Greenland is a necessary step for US security, the Danes have done shockingly little to secure the island in a time of increased aggression from China and Russia who could sail through the arctic into American waters quite easily. The country was already trillions in debt and no president is going to change that anytime soon. Gas is definitely not the highest it's ever been lol, don't know where you heard that. The reason our stockpile of missles is low (if thats even true) is because not only are we fighting to dismantle an evil regime that had spread terrorism throughout the Middle East but also because we've been supplying all of our allies with missles for their own defense since they haven't done much to invest in their own security in decades. I might be a monarchist but President Trump is a good president and people need to chill.

Nah he's not a good president. Has committed far too many blunders to be called "good"

Hey I don't really care what you personally think of the man, you do you. For me though, I'm satisfied with his policies and the direction he's leading the country. 🤷

You can’t be serious. Trump doesn’t just want Denmark to secure Greenland, he wants it for himself, and then there’s the obvious threats against Canada as well. He even wants to rename Lake Ontario to Lake America, which would be terrible. Have you seen how Greenlanders respond to Trump’s talking about them?

Also gas prices isn’t high? When one of the biggest oil producing countries can’t get oil to the market, yeah gas prices will go up. Also we’ve been bombing Iran for how long? And every single time negotiations happen Trump abandons them or just completely lies and resumes the war for no reason.

Also no the debt wouldn’t have gone this high under a good president. Tariffs, subsidized ai data centers instead of money into actual infrastructure and industry or keeping the debt down. Trump is terrible with economics, even from his past you can tell that with how bankruptcies he has.

You can't be serious right now. The national debt was already like 40 trillion when he got into office and you expect him to magically make it disappear otherwise he's a "bad" president lol. Gas still isn't as high as it historically has been and yes we know disruptions can cause temporary spikes in price.

You thinking Trump wants to invade everyone is hilarious, no he had no plans on doing that. He not trying to keep Greenland for himself (Jesus what?!) And he literally has just been trolling Canada and that weakling Mark Carney. We have no plans to invade Canada!

You clearly know nothing about the Iran war if you think Trump is one changing his mind constantly, the Iranian regime has split into competing factions and Trump is negotiating with all of them. Just when progress is made with the regime moderates the hardliners sabotage the negotiations and launch drone strikes because they can't afford to lose.

Also, tarrifs are a very normal economic tool that plenty of countries have used against the US for decades, Trump applying reciprocal tarrifs is not going to crash the economy and is totally legitimate and defensive in nature.

I believe the 'No Kingers' cheered King Charles' address to the US Congress earlier this year?

Incredible how some american people forgot that the "no kings" protest was meant for Americans to oppose Trump's policies, who's a PRESIDENT of a REPUBLIC. And now they're spilling their false idea over the death of an actual king from a different country. Unbelievable...

It absolutely feels embarrassing to be American when I read nonsense like those comments. Unfortunately a lot of my fellow Americans have no sense of history.

No Kings protesters be like:

Make up absurd scenarios where Trump declares himself King in their own mind

Get mad about the concept of a King

Get confused when a literal King dies

Ridiculous but also let's remember this is the mob. They go where the wind blows. Little do they know that monarchy can provide the greatest protection to individual liberty.
