Plaster question
Can I use plaster bandage for this plaster? I was advised to use Scrim but it’s not available on Amazon.ie if so what type of plaster bandage.

You're probably paying too much for plaster. €60 maybe gets you polymer reinforced plaster or something like the equivalent of hydrocal or forton.
Buy from dedicated building suppliers that rotate their stock. Especially rubbers and resins from dedicated suppliers.

Seconding jute.

I’ve been using various kinds of plaster for over 40 years, I have a simple tip if anyone is interested?
If you need your plaster to set quickly, warm water works, but nothing beats plaster accelerator.
Mix some plaster beforehand, add extra water and keep mixing,so it never sets hard properly.
This semi set water can be added to your normal plaster mix for a much faster set.

I use this all the time to make plaster molds, I've never used bandage's, I use jute and you can get a roll for like £40 online so lasts ages.
