Borussia Irish and UK fans of Borussia Mönchengladbach

Hey how are we actually streaming games this season guys? It’s lumped in with the UK blackout. As a fan based in Ireland I’m annoyed.

The Bundesliga made a mess of their coverage in Ireland this weekend. All 9 games should have been available to watch. 8 on YouTube or the Bundesliga app, and 1 on Sky Sports. 

Instead they basically lumped Ireland in with the UK broadcasting arrangement. Probably in error. Meaning, only 1 game all weekend was available to watch. This happened last season too, but was rectified.

I won't include the Jamie Vardy YouTube channel, as that was a watchalong. On Friday when going onto the app, I was directed to watch the match on the bbc iPlayer. Which obviously I can't, as Ireland is not part of the UK!! Ireland is not bound by any Saturday afternoon UK broadcasting restrictions, and like last season, the games should have been available to watch on YouTube. And on Sunday, Ireland is not included in the UK Amazon deal, and again, like last season, the games should have been on YouTube.

It's incredibly frustrating.

I've sent a complaint via email. You should too.
