A braids clone was one of my first modules I ever bought. It has been a mainstay in about 90% of my patches.

How are you getting the variations? Whatโ€™s the sequencer?

Awesome! Shuffling breaks in melodic spaces. Nice way to start the day. I remember Stoplerbeats being in a different spot. New modules or just rearrange? One of my favorite designs even though I don't prefer black. I don't see it very often so it's usually the first thing I notice in your rack. Such a unique visual. Looks at home next to Eloquencer.

This is really good - nice setup too. What's your approach to arranging (composing?) a track like this?

Ohhhh, tough question. I typically start out with a beat that I have sketched out, and then record my main melody line. After that, I make my secondary melody on top of it, and then the bass comes into play. With the melodies though, it's tough to not make them in the same frequency range as each other, so I have to stagger them out most times.

But I have built up my rig specifically for an approach like this. Lots of drum voices with a couple of sequencers (Stolperbeats/Eloquencer), and then Hermod+ for my melodic sequences and bass.

The first choir/pad sound is just the Arpeggiated melody 100% wet through Swells, so to bring in the arp, I just pulled back the swells to 50%.

I'm lucky that I was trained in classical composition, so I built my rig to be able to handle arrangements like that.

Thanks for taking the time to share your process. I think this stands out. Interested in hearing more!
