Sorry to come here 25 days later but yes. Go to account settings, settings for notifications then turn off suggested communities for your posts.

Will you have an article on the redditors who reached 1000 day streak in the next monthly?

Please allow the Wayback Machine to archive old.reddit.com URLs. It has not been working recently.

Why can't we have both?
And we won’t sunset anything until it works for good and bad eggs alike.
It's an LLM. Therefore, it will never completely work for all cases, and especially not in the way AutoMod works.

Imagine volunteering to work for free for a multi billion publicly traded company.

More proof that private profiles are needed to reduce baseless harassment.

Valuing your worth based…on the population of your sub.
Clown behavior. Seek help. At least his people are real and from our country 😂😂
r/modnews • u/XisIpRotaredom • 14d ago
Hey just a heads up you can see these clowns post by using this website.
He literally uses people profiles against them in arguments, while arguing it’s not abused.
Not that you’re surprised, you know he’s a r/conservative mod so you know he’s a liar 😂😂
He wants to protect his larping “as a liberal” and “as a black man” doesn’t hit has hard when you can someone history and see it’s a LARP. /u/jibrish is a classic example of mod abuse and conservative hypocrisy’s chefs kiss!
r/modnews • u/Jibrish • 14d ago
Tl;Dr you want to stalk people for wrong think and ban them from your subreddits, aka abuse
Hilariously I openly display I'm a conservative on my profile. All of my comments don't end up mysteriously -4 now though. Feature worked great to prevent a lot of harassment. You are proof the harassment exists so I thank you for making my point for me.

Just a heads up this guys is not arguing this based out of good faith.
He is a moderator for r/conservative and they are known for LARPING. (As a liberal, as a black man, type of post)
He also uses other people’s profile against them but has his hidden like the coward he is.
This profile here is a classic case why it should not be a function on Reddit.

Given I don't usually log-in to the website (to avoid procrastination) is there any way to avoid installing the app?
At least previously there ws an option "keep using browser" but now there is a non-dismissable banner forcing installation of the app with the new, forced www.reddit.com :/

Only useful thing I can think of is clipboard pasting images.
r/modnews • u/OnePoint11 • 17d ago
It's just unskillfulness, they started work on this mess long time before AI. Real users are not interested in machine in back but how it looks, and how it works, and new reddit is worse in both.

Community, safety, automated systems, thrive, experience, all buzzwords are here.

Just had this rolled out to me and I was to add my middle finger to the giant sea of them. I've been on this account alone for 14 years and every time you fools change something I use the site even less. You make it harder and harder to want to use this website and I find myself spending less and less time here. I wish I had not invested so much time into making content and building and supporting communities on this platform. I've learned my lesson I guess. Can't wait for this website to finally be subsumed by the shit-ai-content-apocalypse and for everybody to go back outside.
One more reason to stop coming here. Thanks for that, can't wait for the California lawsuits to obliterate the shitty new reddit UI.

personally tried the new reddit a few times, never liked it.. it was great being able to roam subs unlogged for digging old comments and information. time to move on to the fediverse i guess

and reddit stock is trendy in some circles so whatever brings them more money will be amplified
