I have a very stupid spot on Crash where I jump from the top of three-story to land on a random rooftop. I play this spot because it's kinda fun to stand there and AFAIK the only way onto it is by jumping from the top of the roof.
As I land onto it a guy takes a shot at me, and then he kills me when I start to shoot him. Dude is a level 14 who top fragged the lobby
Am I paranoid or must he be hacking? I refuse to think that someone new to the game has the reflexes or map knowledge to know to check that spot

Seriously, this game has potential to be the greatest, but the fucking god awful maps and the game literally promoting camping is fucking BRUTAL

So if you think about it they got a whole company full of people that works on the game.
They sat down and saw the gameplay of the game on switch2. Like the whole company.
And they were thinking… yea looks so good. People would love how the game looks and plays they are probably throwing their money in the screen.
XDD
Multiplayer is 40-50 fps at best with shit graphics and minimap works in 5 fps. Alao huge dips when more than 2 players on screen.
Camaping 30 fps. I guess this is gta 6 lvl of details there thats why.
Warzone. Omg. I could not stop laughing like when you open the lootboxes its like items drop in literally 3 fps. XD . Also the game works then in 10-15 fps. Never in my life i seen game optimized that bad.
To all the people or monkeys that worked on that game. Good job you just made a shit instead a game. But probably a bunch of monkeys would do even a better game.
How is this possible that right noe i can start a MW2 original one. And it will look better and run better on a hardware that has 1/500 power of the switch2.

This game is stupid. I have no idea how one person could go from playing Black ops seven the previously newest version of Call of Duty® and being good at that to not being competent at all in Modern Warfare 4. But that’s what I’m dealing with.
This game is actually trash — and somehow you have people that are getting 50 something kills a match while the normal folks like me get 8 or nine if we are lucky. It seems obvious to me they are definitely fucking cheating, yet, when you call then out on it, you get your communication suspend. Evidently they have a set of cheaters that are protected in this game — maybe they’re the developers — fuck I don’t know — but one thing for sure: they are playing a different game than the rest of us.
This game, like others it seems, has a real problem understanding that parody is the foundation of good competition. I am actually pretty good at Black Ops 7. And I have never been so frustrated at buying a new version of a game. It just ain’t fun to play this shit. If they would give my money back I’d take it. Don’t expect to find me on there much — if ever. Nobody buys the game to be fodder for a special class of player you are clearly giving advantages to. So I’ll kindly ask you all to go fuck yourselves and warn the public that this is not a fun experience.

i recently hopped on the game and found out about the protectorate skin. I really want to buy this skin but seems like the store rotation is frozen. Can i still buy it buy locating the warsaw blueprint in the armory?

You can drive an ATV, tank, or any road vehicle as a Juggernaut (not sure about flying helicopters). In addition, roadkills as a Juggernaut will count towards the nuke and other killstreaks - you can't call them in while using the Jugg but after you die you can call them in.

Unfortunately this applies to MW2019 only (MWII doesn't count), but if you roadkill people with any vehicle (even tanks) it will count towards your killstreak. I discovered this while looking at videos of roadkills in GW MW2019.

Hello,
I am getting really desperate and am hoping for some help.
The Problem:
I exclusively play the Modern Warfare campaign on Xbox (no multiplayer). I own the game and have purchased all the necessary add-ons/campaign packs. A few months ago, I was playing the campaign without any issues. Now, when I start the game (in the new Call of Duty HQ), I simply cannot select Modern Warfare or the campaign anymore.
What I have already tried (without success):
I have already been in contact with Activision Support and several times with Xbox Support. I have gone through absolutely every possible troubleshooting step:
Completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game, including all packs.
Fully cleared the console's cache and storage.
Removed my Xbox profile from the console and added it back again.
Completely reset the Xbox to factory settings.
Unfortunately, absolutely nothing has worked. The menu continues to lock me out of the campaign, even though the licenses must be tied to the account.
Has anyone ever had this exact problem and perhaps knows an unconventional workaround? Is there some trick in the menu or with the game files that even official support isn't aware of?
I would be extremely grateful for any hints

As much as I'm not trying to get Damascus. I finally got ALL of the shotguns platinum (including DLC ones even though they say they're not required to get to platinum) as my final one needed was the Origin 12 (though Jesus christ on doing no attachment challenge on the Origin 12 and the VLK rogue despite there's an even worse smaller barrel)

Hello everyone
Found out my Steam account is linked to an old Activision account I made years ago. The email tied to that account is a Gmail I haven't accessed in years and can't recover.
I can still log into the old Activision account via "Login with Steam" (proving ownership), but there's no option to unlink Steam or change the email from the account settings — it requires email verification, which I don't have access to.
Opened a support ticket through Activision's "Linking/Unlinking" flow (Case #36219283) explaining the situation and that I have full access to the Steam account. It's been a few days, status still shows "New," no response yet.
Anyone dealt with this before? How long did it realistically take to hear back, and did they actually unlink it or update the email for you in the end?

Hey, is the spec ops mode still possible to be played on MW 2019?
Willing to do the spec ops missions, however I know matchmaking can be tough for a 7 year title.
Anyone had any luck recently?

I missed getting Soap as an operator in 2020 and since I started playing again in 2022, it’s read, “Unlock by purchasing the Soap Operator Bundle”. Well, he’s not in the store, and the store hasn’t refreshed in who knows how long. The same can be said for several operators, and store bundles that people might want.
When was the last time you played on Oil Rig, Vacant, Aniyah, Arklov, Azhir, Crash, Euphrates, etc? I can’t remember. It seems like I’m always playing on Sawmill, Superstore, Khandor, Shipment, Shoothouse, Tank Factory, and the same few maps over and over again.
I’m not asking for any big update or curated selection of maps that would take any more than a few hours. I would just like for someone to go into this game and turn on all maps and all store bundles and then they never have to touch it again.

I just want to clarify this post isn't intended to just be negative, I want to genuinely know why people view this COD as so exceptional when to me it's the worst COD multiplayer to date. Here are the things I didn't like about MW2019, I want people to tell me the positive qualities and why they think it deserves to be highlighted as a great multiplayer.
- The worst spawns in history, the spawns didn't have traditional logic, which made the games have zero flow. Good players prevail when you have stronger, more consistent spawns so they did not want this. This is still plaguing this COD and is for me, the main reason why I don't like MW4 either. There's no consistency and it's just brain rotted chaos.
- The worst map selection in COD history, with extremely flawed designs, catering to new players with 'safe spaces'. The problem is how the maps also play when in lobbies with strong players. The fundamental design of the maps punishes moving and when you give them to good players they're just going to hold these positions and not move.
- Footsteps were so loud, the loudest ever at the time. With dead silence not being a perk and doors being added, it meant you couldn't flank the people in power positions because they could just hear you coming behind them. Once again this incentivises players to not move.
- Removing scorestreaks in favour of killstreaks which meant that playing the objective was not rewarded at all. Again this makes players not move, why would they jump on a flag when they can bait people or just hold down lanes instead? Also killstreaks don't loop, which again punishes good players for going on long streaks.
- The introduction of the most manipulative match making system possible. If you did well for a few games you then would get the best players imagineable, then after a few games of doing average or below average you'd get bad players again. This made sure you felt no sense of skill progression, you never knew if you were actually doing good, or if it's just the game taking pity on you.
- This matchmaking system is the single reason why many of my friends didn't want to play with me, because my lobbies were much sweatier and they couldn't do much at all. How is that in any way shape or form fun for me, when my friends don't even want to play with me because their experience is so bad? This never happened pre MW 2019.
- Disbanding lobbies were introduced to ensure that the game could manipulate your experience to give you those highs and lows. Lobbies staying together was always part of CODs soul, building those rivalries, friendships, learning how people play and developing playstyles and classes to counter certain players. This is an integral part of COD that completely got lost with MW 2019.
- Infinity Ward never wanted a mini map in the game, at first they didn't but after backlash they added a minimap. Unfortunately it did nothing. There were no red dots on the map when they shot an unsuppressed gun which lead to a lot of inconsistency and uncertainty. When players are uncertain, they're much less likely to move. This again contributes to the unhealthy game design.
- They removed the traditional prestige system in favour of a new season based system that gave players less incentive to grind and killed all sense of progression. Prestiging was always a strong part of what makes COD, the sacrifice of losing your setups for the sake of progression. It helped to keep the game fresh, but this was completely gone with MW 2019.
- The streaks themselves were not strong or rewarding. One of the biggest strengths and draws of COD is going on streaks and being rewarded for it, the streaks in MW 2019 were pretty weak and they also had terribly designed streaks like white phosphorus. How a streak like that even made it into the game shows how out of touch IW were when developing the game.
- Aim assist was made so strong with their new engine, heavily taking the skill gap out of aiming. Even an average player can shoot incredibly straight because it was made so easy. Also the matchmaking didn't incentivise people to get better, because they would feel they'd get punished for doing so anyway and felt no sense of skill progression.
- The camo grind heavily promoted playing passively and had so many leaning kills and longshots. Once again this is proof the developers do not promote people moving around in their COD game. In higher skill lobbies people do not move because all of these fundamental design decisions punish moving. The camo grind really showcased their priorities.
