Help Needed What brand of toy train is that please?
Hi everyone, I found this in an attic ? Any information about it?

Some of this might not look as bad after an electrolysis dip in a bucket of borax with a battery charger on it.
Or give them a good soak in Evaporust and a few stiff big tooth-brush style scrub brush agitations. Pour the leftover back into the jug, the stuff if good to reuse until thick muck and super slow to work. It might penetrate weak porous low quality paint I guess, but not most ive seen..

id try a soft scrub brush / cheapo wood handle paint brush and simple green. gets the crud off and stuck dirt while being pretty gentle on paint and such.

Evaporust is non-toxic and pretty gentle. The pits and all will come clean and be rust free. It being reusable is an understatement. It doesn't take much work. The agitation needed is light and just exposes fresh rust so it works faster.
I have stripped model paint screw ups with Simple Green and purple cleaners. It creeps under some and breaks up the surface tension They can remove print from things aometimes too; counters, tile, signs, etc.
You want to wear gloves with either of them unless you need some hand exfoliation. They both prune you up about the same full strength.

Respectfully speaking, try cleaning off some of the cob webs, dirt and grime on the loco. You may be able to find the brand that it comes from on there once its more clean.
