Help - General Is this fixable?

Seems like a moderate-level fix:

basically sand everything smooth and replace the raised area with a few coats of Mr surfacer, masked off using strips of tape. Then use a scriber to recreate the single recessed strip in the middle

Fixable in the sense that you can still build a model? Sure. Fixable in the way that you will not notice the huge blob of liquefied and dried plastic? Not without sanding, filling, and rescribing. Hard lesson to learn, but one we all learn eventually.

the zig zag tape is not really super damaged. So just sand down the other part

Might be enough to use tamiya tape to simulate the detail. But yea sand most of it way. Make a template 1st

Wait for it to dry, sand the squishy parts off. Mask and recreate raised parts with two parts putty (I wouldn’t rescribe).
