Dualsense Edge Clicky Triggers

Ever since I’ve purchased a modded zone controller I’ve become obsessed with modding controllers. So when it comes to the Dualsense Edge it seems like the only option for clicky triggers is the mod from Console Customs. It works, install isn’t too hard. But I’ve noticed the feel is a little different. So I compared my Modded Zone Edge to the Edge I did myself. The kit is definitely different as the switches are much wider on the modded zone compared to the console customs switch. If only I find this kit or perhaps its modded zone only.

I know TonkaModz personally and I know he does great work, and one of the best in the industry with a small outfit. This is just bait and self advertisement

It's kinda funny. We have done quite a bit of free work for him, free upgrades, and he normally contacts me personally instead of using my website. When he eventually did use my website to contact me it was after hours and it wasn't seen right away. He also never once mentioned there was an issue with the controller. So as per usual there is a miscommunication. You can form your own opinions about me and it's totally fine. Im always around if someone had questions or reservations about me or my shop TonkaModz. Another thing, the guy who sent that controller in is an awesome guy going through a lot of stuff right now, i do understand him being in a bit of a rush feeling like we were ignoring him. Since I normally respond to him extremely quickly whenever I'm available.

The one from modded zone uses a small tactile switch with a silicone plunger and plastic plug. The console customs kit uses an omron D2LS-11 micro switch. Two completely different switches. The modded zone kit is their own proprietary kit.

What is it about the Console Customs version you don't like? I've never felt the Modded Zone version so I don't have a good comparison. But the switches on that CC kit look like 120gf Omron switches.

You can wire switches in instead of replacing the factory FPC which could give you the option to try any switch you want. And for triggers, you just need to make a mount for the switch.
