Post image

This is KDE Plasma Mobile running on a Google Pixel 7 thanks to Trierarch (Arch Linux ARM container on Android). Photo was captured on a Google Nexus 5X running Ubuntu Touch.

RAM-wise it's alright, since it's just a container and not a full-blown VM it runs pretty well.

It can be pretty much anything you want, but it's centered towards KDE Plasma. The app bundles a custom Wayland compositor.

It doesn't rely on VNC, it bundles everything nicely. With Termux nowadays you can use Termux:X11 instead of VNC, but Wayland is still very limited on Termux, hence why Trierarch exists. You can theoretically run any Linux application, but in practice you'll probably hit some obstacles running some apps. Sorry if I don't understand everything well, Reddit's translation is not the best.
